About Calcium in Skincare:  Calcium in our daily diet equals strong bones, but Calcium also plays a significant role in the anti-aging process. It's the most abundant mineral in our body, but it depletes as we age, which leads to bones receding over time like your cheekbones.  Calcium also serves an important function when it comes to skin. While not an antioxidant itself, it helps to produce and regulate Catalase, an antioxidant that prevents DNA damage which affects skin texture as well as collagen and elastin levels.
